Mehndi cone filling

Mehndi cone filling
Mehndi cone filling is a tedious task for beginners. People used to get hands strained, air bubbles problem. Mehndi cone filling is time consuming.A sieved mehndi would not have twigs and big leaves but if it is not properly blended it would have mehndi solids that would stuck near the tip of mehndi cone and create a mess in our mehndi. We would be pressing hard to release the mehndi but a small lump would block mehndi from coming out and in some cases we would press our mehndi cone harder and we would have a big smudged dot in our line. So,either use a balloon whisk or hand blender  or stand mixer. Make sure there are no lumps in mehndi and either use adult socks or stockings to filter the mehndi cone to make it smooth.

How to achieve smooth paste?
Take a large transparent glass and spread piping bag over it covering glass sides.Fill mehndi paste in stockings/socks.Use food clipper to clip on the socks .Pull and drag the socks will full force. The mehndi paste will pass through the socks leaving all lumps inside the socks. You get smooth paste inside piping or carrot bag. If you don't have piping bag ,zip lock cover can be used as substitute.

Air pockets/Air bubbles
A common problem in mehndi cone making. The mehndi should be poured from piping bag to cone and left for 10 minutes. This aids mehndi in reaching mehndi tip.If mehndi does not reach tip, it should not be pressed to make it flow down.Pressure creates air bubbles. The mehndi cone should be only tapped. Air bubbles can ruin your design. Imagine, you would be applying dulhan/dulha in mehndi and air bubbles make you put pressure and mehndi comes out of cone in force and spoiling design. Your dulha/dulhan will not have sharp nose due to this problem.Air pockets can easily cause hand pain and make you feel tired quickly.
